Hi
Built the board, everything seems to be ok, I can toggle the outputs when using the default address (03) the problem is when I try to change this address, I've tried various addresses and all seem to be accepted ( no reported errors on controller) but I cannot turn on any output using this address, if I then try address 3 WITHOUT re programming, everything works.
Yes I do you the programming port.
I've tried adding a 200 something load across the programming track, has no effect.
I'm stuck
Cheers

Hi Philj
Are you using long or short addresses? If you are using long addresses you will need to change CV 29 as well.
Can you program any CV and read it back? You should not need to add anything to the program track, but you might need to put a load on the decoder in order to read it back.

Thanks for your response
I'm using short address, I've actually got it to respond to changing the CV just once, using the Hornby Elite.
I didn't do anything different, although had no load on the tracks - but can no longer repeat it.
I'm using the 686 micro
Any ideas ?
Cheers

Which firmware version do you have? v2.19 is the latest and it has a fix to prevent problems when reading on the programming track.
