Hi Paul,
Thank you for the explanation. I wish to write one decoder based on your firmware but using C, If you are willing will you be able to explain me how the process works. I went through the NMRA for the data packet format and its bits descriptions and how the communication should happen.
What I want to know is the process like, How you used the comparator? what steps you followed? First you get the signals to the comparator then check it whether its a one '1' or a zero '0', or are you using a different approach. Since I can't see the flow in Assembly coding unlike C, its really hard form me to determine what your process of decoding the signals be. If you can explain me the steps that would be great..like
1. one you get the signals through GP0 & GP1 2. ........ 3. ........
anything similar like this or even its a paragraph , I don't mind
I tried the MPLAB SIM too but I couldn't determine your flow.
I see that this was inspired by "Heiko Schroeter"'s work, He uses an single DCC input where as you are using 2 inputs. How do you manage to read the signal?
If its not enough space to explain the process here please feel free to drop me a mail on ' dnamr1@gmail.com '.
Thank you
