Hi Paul,
I have been trying to source the components locally here in Adelaide Australia.
I can get most of the parts here but would like to know if the substitutes shown would be suitable.
PIC 16F630. Optionally 16F676, 12F629 or 12F675 will fit on same footprint.= OK as stipulated
78L05 regulator =OK as stipulated
Q1-8 Standard NPN transistor such as BC182L= OK as stipulated
J3 Pin header to suit in circuit serial programming= Not 100% sure what this is, can you explain.
R1,R2 10K 1% =10K 1/4 watt 1%
R3,R4 1K 1% =1/4W 0.25W 1% Metal Film Resistor 1K ohm
R5-R12 4K7 = 4.7K 4K7 Ohms OHM 1/4W 5% Carbon Film
R13,R14 10K =10K 1/4 watt 1%
R15 4R7 0.25W (use a higher power resistor e.g. 2W if it gets too hot!) = 2 watt 5% Carbon Film Resistor 470K ohm
C1 1uF 35V (or larger if possible) electrolytic/tantalum =1uF 35V Radial Capacitor Tantalum or 0.1uF 50V 105C Radial Electrolytic Capacitor 5x11
C2,C4 100nF ceramic = 0.1uf 35V tantulum capacitor
C3 470nf ceramic =0.47uf 35V tantulum capacitor
D1,D2 1N4148 = OK as stipulated
D4-D7 UF4001 or UF4003 (2A max decoder load) or 1N4148 (300mA max decoder load)= OK have UF4003 or 1N4148
D3 27V zener diode such as BZY89C27 or 1N971B = 27V IN4750 4750 1W Zener Diodes
L272 dual power op-amp = TLC272CD CMOS Dual op-amp
I am a bit of a novice at this and would appreciate if you could have a look and advise if the listed items would be OK to use.
As I mentioned in my emails to you, I will be purchasing some kits as soon as they become available but meantime would like to get started with experimenting with the design and the components.
Regards
John
