Thanks Paul, sorted. Got another problem if I switch off track power with all functions switched on, when I power up again F5-6 don't come back on, they have to be reset manually ? One last Q rapid have pics 16f684 on special are they compatible with the standard function software ?
cheers eddy

1. Are you sure that you are just switching off track power and not using the stop function on your command station?
The functions should retain their state when power is interrupted, for example if there is a loss of wheel contact for example which can be simulated by lifting the stock from the track and replacing it and all functions should retain their state.
If you use the stop function on your command station (press the stop button) or power off the command station it will send a decoder reset command to the track and this will switch off all of the functions, it is then down to the command station to refresh the decoder with which functions should be active. Some command stations such as Lenz do not refresh the higher numbered functions (usually F5 and above) by default. Lenz introduced higher function refreshing in V3.6 command stations, but it has to be enabled.
2. The 16F684 is not compatible with the standard firmware but can be supplied by me with the enhanced firmware.
